What’s been happening:

Several of us Alpha of Oklahoma Chapter Pi Epsilon Tau installed a chapter of PET at Penn State Petroleum Eng. Grad. School. Married wife Pat during semester break 1952-53 (Jan. '53). Got MS in Aug. '53 and went to work for Ohio Oil Co. in Robinson, IL, later Terre Haute, IN as a reservoir engineer. Took job with Barron Kidd in Evansville, IN replacing an engineer, a geologist, and a landman who recently resigned. Worked as only engineer in Barron Kidd, Illinois Basin Office 1955-1963 providing engineering, geology, and land work. Waterflood development to 14 projects form western Kentucky to southern Indiana to southern Illinois. Projects ranged from 3 well dumps flood to 40 well water Hood peak production 1958 was 2400 Bbl. Worked for Engineering Consultant and Oil Company client 1963 to 1968 when transferred to Denver office of Buttes Goil & Oil 7/1/68. Buttes closed Denver office 1980. Worked for SURTEK, Golden, CO 1980-1986. Spring of 1986 the last of 5 children out of college, house mortgage paid off, oil business in another slump so I retired after 36 years in the "oil patch." Been fly fishing the Rockies (Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico) and new Zealand.
